The accommodation itself was nice, clean, and modern, in a leafy green area. Still, for what we paid, we should have had bath towels and basic toiletries, and the beds could at least have been made for us. The staff made the stay a headache. They didn’t explain clearly enough ahead of time that check-in ended at 16:30, an unusual and lazy rule, so check-in became needlessly complicated. Check-out was worse: the manager shouted at us on the phone and barged into our accommodation. It took 25 long days and many, many emails to get my security deposit back. I’d avoid staying here again because of the unprofessional staff and administration.

The house is nice and clean, with green grass, but the staff spoiled the stay for us. The owner shouldn’t be working in hospitality or any customer-facing job. I’m not sure which part was worst, but having the door flung open without a knock and being screamed at while still in bed over a fault on their end is high on the list. The place itself is pleasant, but with staff this aggressive and unprofessional, I’d avoid it at all costs. We won’t be back.

The cottage and camping are great, but the staff cheated us out of our deposit. They took 300 euros, claiming we had smoked in the facility, without any proof. I think this was an excuse to add extra costs and has the hallmarks of fraud. I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone who doesn’t want to lose money.

We had a camper and a big space of our own, with spotless toilets and showers. The swimming pool was ideal, though it feels too small for the full season, and the cafeteria has enough choices for lunch or dinner. I’m in love with the frozen cappuccino 🥰🥰🥰 It’s a lovely place to unwind near a busy town. The airport is close, so it isn’t completely quiet. The one nuisance was having to pay to put rubbish in the containers.

There was no toilet paper, soap, or dishwashing liquid, and after paying hundreds extra we were still asked to take the trash out or pay even more. The Airbnb listing didn’t include the extra 206€ we had to pay on arrival, which isn’t a small amount. We couldn’t drive back in after 11pm because the barrier wouldn’t open, so we had to walk all the way to the cabin late at night. The toilet and shower floors were so cold that stepping on them barefoot felt like risking amputation from necrosis. Now we’re sitting in the car in front of reception. The listing said checkout was at 10am, but nobody is here to check us out before 11am. How is this service acceptable? We’re athletes who’ve just competed in a big event, and everyone would have needed an extra hour of sleep. We definitely won’t stay anywhere near this place when we come back to Eindhoven next year.
