Mr Jigs

Breakfast was the biggest letdown. There’s barely anything: tea or coffee, one croissant, and a few pieces of fruit. Sometimes even the croissant takes up to 15 minutes to arrive. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that offered so little for breakfast. The nice lobby and friendly staff make a good first impression, and the location is good, though there’s no parking. After that, the rooms disappoint. They feel like prison cells, with only a bed, a chair, and a TV that gets a few Dutch channels. There’s no wardrobe or bedside table. The shower and toilet sit behind a glass wall that gives almost no privacy when sharing the room. At this price, I wouldn’t recommend it. It offers no value for money.

The staff make the stay with their warm, friendly service, and the breakfast is a delicious way to start the day. My favorite place to stay in Venlo already. Mr. Jigs is only a short walk from the station and lively city center, and the rooms are spotless, cozy, and really inviting.

We stayed just one night, but had such a good time that we’d happily choose this lovely, fancy hotel again. The family room was cozy and very clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything we needed was there. We slept well, and the little breakfast with free croissants and delicious coffee was great. The service was so warm and welcoming. Thanks for a fantastic stay! ♥️

I stayed for a long time, so I got a good chance to judge the different parts of the place. The rooms are well designed and there are options to suit different budgets and interests. Staff are kind and ready to help with all sorts of requests. It’s close to the city center, train station, and streets with nice restaurants and bars. The place is really quiet and good for resting.
