The rooms were decent and the service was good. It’s a little outside Amsterdam, with no real public transport links, so it’s far from the main city. Still, you can enjoy some scenic views and see some of the nicest houses in the Netherlands. It’s also near other attractions in the country.

Everything went perfectly, and the renovated room was cozy. The place is really nice, with an amazing view outside. We’d only suggest letting people rent bicycles for shorter periods, since the minimum rental was three hours and we couldn’t rent them.

We hired a boat and a pair of bikes and had such a great time exploring. Kim, one of the owners, also sat down with us and shared the story behind the property. That kind of personal connection feels rare these days. The place has fantastic facilities and staff, and its setting makes it easy to recharge in Dutch nature while staying close to Amsterdam and Utrecht.

The apartments were clean and had everything we needed, right by the Vinkeveense Plassen in a lovely setting. We felt welcome from the start, and it was handy being able to grab a drink or snack at the bar. A lovely stay, whether you're here to fish or head into Amsterdam.
