The restaurant menu was very limited, with just three meat mains and no vegetables served alongside them or vegetarian choice. Breakfast was very cold on two mornings. The coffee machine in the lobby was messy, with used cups and spills, and everyone in the hotel seemed to use it. Reception told me that's where to get tea and coffee, since there was none in the room. My room wasn't cleaned daily, the rubbish stayed there until day three, and the shower tray was blocked. I could only shower for three or four minutes before water spilled onto the bathroom floor. The room was very small for the price, and the air conditioning didn't work. I've stayed at IBIS over the last few years, but this location has fallen below the brand's standard. Disappointing.

Just here for one night so far, and it feels cozy. I think it'll be a great stay. The hotel's TLS certificate has been expired for nearly a week while I'm writing this, though. Update it soon and I'd give the place five stars.

We often come to this area to visit family and have tried several hotels. This has been our best experience. The room was comfortable, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and the food was very good at breakfast and at one dinner.

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of choices to suit different tastes. I also appreciated the small lobby touches: coffee machine, fresh pastries, water, and magazines. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. Christelle deserves a special mention for chatting with Tanya and making an extra effort to make our stay pleasant. Her warmth and kindness gave the experience a personal touch. We stayed for a long time, and although keeping to budget was important, the experience exceeded my expectations. I usually like a firm mattress, but the signature Ibis bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I slept well throughout. I've stayed at many Accor hotels around Rotterdam over the years, and this was our best experience so far. I'd be very happy to return.

I spent three nights here. The workers were nice, the rooms were comfortable enough, and the Wi-Fi was free with a good signal. The building looks a little old, and the rooms are nothing special. Parking is available for €7.50 a day. Don't rely on the restaurant's advertised closing time of 21:30. One day it was already shut when I arrived at 20:45, and another time it was closed at 20:30. Breakfast included coffee, various juices, some fruit, bread, ham, and cheese. Bacon and eggs were supposed to be available too, but they were already gone by 8:15 on both mornings I went. I picked this hotel because it was closer to where I had to work, but I doubt I'd stay again. Other Rotterdam hotels I've tried, like DoubleTree, Holiday Inn, and NH in the city center, are much better in quality and price.
