Boutique Hotel Maldegem

Room 007 was huge, modern, and beautifully done, with a lovely open layout. The bathtub in the room was a real eye-catcher, and there was a shower too. One drawback is that the toilet is open with no door, which may not suit everyone, though it didn't bother us. This is a beautiful old city hotel, renovated with a lot of care. The owners were incredibly friendly. You get the room key on your phone, and it opens both the room and the entrance door, which is a great system. There weren't enough guests for the breakfast buffet, so we couldn't try it. Instead, we got a nice basket of delicious items and could order anything else we wanted. We were very impressed and will definitely come back.

We had our small dog with us, and they treated it with great care. The harbor-side location is perfect, the rooms are cozy and spacious, and the bathroom was fantastic. We're very satisfied and can highly recommend the hotel.

Our room looked out over the harbor, and the setting there is beautiful. Everything was clean, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The only thing I'd mention is the narrow stairwell, which comes from the building's structure and can't be changed. A great hotel in a lovely location.
