The room and the rest of the place were clean, and the village center was handy for restaurants, supermarkets, and bars. But the night itself was rough. There are six rooms in the house, and the walls barely block sound. I could hear people on the stairs, bathroom and toilet doors opening, and even the toilet flushing from my room. The front door slammed loudly twice, waking me at 23:00 and 24:00. The bed was very hard, too. I was there for one night on a cycling trip and had booked a room with a shared bathroom and toilet. Since the kitchen and bathrooms can't be used between 23:00 and 08:00, I couldn't shower before leaving early with my bike at 07:30.

I went to a party here and found the place really cozy and very clean. There's a lovely, super friendly dog, too. The toilets are in a garage, though, and it was quite cold in there.

The owners are about as nice as they come, and the farm setting gives the place a lot of charm. Their cute farm dog is called Zico. My room was lovely, and the property sits at the edge of the picturesque village of Vrouwenpolder. You can rent bikes or get something to eat there, and the shore isn't too far away.

The one small drawback is the walk to the beach, about 15 minutes. Apart from that, it's all very good: decent prices, complete utilities, and easy-going, kind people. It's a great spot to spend some time near the shore, and I'll definitely come back.

It's a quiet, family-run campsite, and pets aren't allowed. The showers were clean. In August, guests get to share in some of the harvest. There's a supermarket 350 m away and the beach is 1000 m away. The central location also makes it easy to explore much of Zeeland, including Middelburg, Goes, Zierikzee and Neeltje Jans.
