Bed & Breakfast Rezonans

We've been trying for almost three months to get the €105 back through Booking for a room that was double-booked. Ans says she knows nothing about it, but meanwhile she's still double-booking rooms and trying to rent out caravans and tents without sanitary facilities that haven't been booked. Her own proposed solution was that we could book one of those empty accommodations. She gives incorrect advice, telling guests to cancel right away, so she can avoid paying her commission to Booking. The guest is left dealing with the consequences.

The site and surroundings are beautiful, but the facilities are mediocre for the price. We camped at Resonanz from July 19 to 23, 2021, with two people and a small caravan. There's just one small cubicle with a shower and toilet, so while someone's showering, nobody else can use the toilet. The Wi-Fi at the camping spot in the parking lot often cuts out. The neighbors charge €16 for a spot with better facilities. Ans became irritated when we arrived too early and the electricity cable hadn't been laid properly. She said, ‘You can camp somewhere else.’ When we were shocked by the €40 per night price as we left, she said, ‘You don’t have to come back.’ Given the cost and the way we were treated, we're happy to comply with Ans's wishes.

The location is lovely, but the B&B itself is very basic. We were glad we'd booked only 1 night. The rooms are outdated and unclean, with dust, cobwebs, and spiders everywhere, and ours smelled musty. The shower was badly outdated, with a cracked socket and limescale.

Ans welcomed me warmly when I arrived in the dark. I slept wonderfully in the spacious upper room in the main house, with its own clean bathroom. I was there from September 19th to 20th for a guided MT session, which was excellently facilitated in the adjacent building. The next morning I could see what a beautiful, rustic, somewhat spiritual place it is, looking out over the woods and fields. Highly recommended. Thanks, Ans!
