Hotel Kaap West

The breakfast had plenty of choices for different tastes, and the cook's dinner really impressed us. The rooms were spotless, with a modern, welcoming feel, and the staff were friendly and did everything they could to make us comfortable. We also loved seeing dogs around the hotel. As dog lovers, it was heartwarming that the hotel welcomed our furry friends.

We've stayed here a couple of times and it never disappoints. The rooms are roomy enough, with nice bathrooms, and the morning buffet has enough choice for a good start to the day. The restaurant isn't the best around, but it's good for its price range. The location is ideal between Zoutelande and Westkapelle. Parking is available right outside, though those spaces can fill up, in which case there's another nearby lot that's free. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a hotel in this region.

The room was clean and breakfast had plenty to choose from 😀. It was a relaxing, enjoyable stay at a welcoming, modern hotel, and the staff were friendly and tried to help. English can be difficult, though, since the local language comes first and then German. There isn't much information, and what little is written is in German. If you prefer to stay off tech and mobiles, the QR codes for most of the information can be a problem. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday, and the bar shuts at 10 pm. There's plenty of parking outside, and both the hotel and area are very dog friendly. Dogs can run freely on the beach, about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is surrounded by camper and caravan sites, but it was quiet when we visited last week, even with people around. I imagine that could change when the holiday season arrives. There's lots of walking to do and the beaches are very clean. Watch out for the cycling paths, though. They get very busy, and some cyclists take the corners fast.
