Not cheap, of course, but worth more than two stars to me. The service was the best I've ever had, and the food was excellent. Finally, a restaurant with a wide selection of alcohol-free wines that pair perfectly with it.

The grounds are a lovely place to take long walks, with lots of routes through beautiful countryside. We had an excellent stay at Château Wittem. The rooms blend modern design with classic original lines, and dinner was excellent, with well-chosen wines and first-rate service. Finding the entrance took a moment because we didn't spot the small bell box at the gate straight away, but the staff helped us.

We had a six-course lunch tasting, paired with five different wines from the first course through dessert. The menu and service were both amazing. The restaurant is in a great location in the Maastricht area. If you're nearby and looking for gourmet dining, this is the place. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a striking atmosphere, with a timeless classical interior, and the cuisine and wines were exceptional, worth making a special trip for. I hadn't been there in four years and was really impressed by the renovation. The room was beautifully furnished, and the bed was very comfortable, with turn-down service.

Château Wittem really is a castle hotel, and I highly recommend it. We spent a romantic night there, ideal for a couple or an anniversary. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even prepared roses and balloons for our wedding. I also want to mention the five-course menu, with food made by Michelin chefs. Enjoy the views and the flavours.
