Kamer 11 had loads of character, though you'll need to be nimble on the stairs. The place is quaint and cozy, with a nice bar and excellent food made in house. Service was fantastic, and everyone was very friendly. Loved it.

I left and found a dog friendly Hotel instead. The receptionist wasn't very friendly. There was a room available that I wanted, but when I said I had a 5 pound Service Dog with me, they refused to let me take it. Is that even legal?

Workum is still a charming place worth visiting. The hotel, though, used to be a great small place and the service has dropped considerably. They forgot something at breakfast every single day, and the post service wasn't satisfactory either. I later wrote to report that I’d left something in the room, but never got a reply.

We had a great room, cool and easy to get in and out of thanks to its street door, even with the steep stairs. A fantastic place to stay and eat, and the cold La Chouffe on tap was a treat!

In the evening, the staff were very friendly and the fish dishes were great. Service outside was a little slow in the morning.
