Center Parcs Zandvoort Zandvoort

The park is lovely and right by the sea. Our cottage was the same one we stayed in six years ago, but its whirlpool bath had been replaced and the new one was nowhere near as good as the original. Both bathroom radiators were badly rusted and need replacing, and there were no cereal bowls in the kitchen. The cottage could use a little TLC.

This felt more like a smaller Landal or Roompot park than what I usually expect from Center Parcs. A public road runs through the middle, the accommodation is pretty bare, and the Plaza is tiny with few extra amenities. It’s good, just quite different from other Center Parcs parks.

The park itself is lovely, but our late arrival was a frustrating mess. We could barely find our way around in the dark with the low-visibility paper map. When we asked the night porter for help, he brushed us off and even hung up on the intercom, as if we were a nuisance for trying to locate our unit. Although Social Deal and reception had confirmed the booking, the night staff couldn’t find it, and the suggestion that we hadn’t paid caused extra stress. The bungalow also lacked the coffee, tea, and sugar promised with our Premium booking. Center Parcs Zandvoort is a solid destination, but the handoff from third-party bookings to the night staff needs serious work. Some empathy and clearer signs would have made a big difference.

The house was cozy and very clean, and Zandvoort is a lovely city. The pool felt small compared with other parks, but the wild water slide was really fun. Great location overall.
