Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. The room itself had flat mattresses that need replacing, a safe in the closet that wasn’t bolted down, and bathroom fans that did little to clear moisture. There were water leak stains on the outside walls, too. On the third floor, there was a foul sewer smell at the top of the stairs and in the hallway every day of our three-day stay. We couldn’t keep the window open for fresh air because wind made the dropped ceiling panels rattle badly and dust fall from above. The stairs are also very steep and narrow, and the hotel feels tired and needs more maintenance. You have to leave your room key at reception when you go out, which is unusual.

We spent four days here and found it a great choice. It’s close to the beach, and the staff were amazing and looked after us. The hotel felt luxurious, and the whole stay was a great experience.

It seemed a little strange at first, but turned out to be one of the coolest hotels I’ve stayed in. The ocean is right across the road, and the bus station is just around the corner. The staff were really friendly, and I enjoyed every day there.

I’ve stayed here twice and had the same room both times. It came with a sun terrace, minibar fridge, kettle and things for making hot drinks. You get a key for the shower and toilet, which is nice since they’re just for your use. They also provide a clean dressing gown if you want one. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the beach at zandvoort.

A cozy place near the beach, with a nice breakfast. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.
