Hotel Zeespiegel

The owner was friendly and helpful. When my next town seemed fully booked, he called there on my behalf to book another hotel. The location is central, and breakfast was good.

We stayed one night as a couple. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom looked modern and was very clean. It was quiet, and although hallway and next-door room sounds carry, I still found the rooms private enough. I’d book here again if I return to Zandvoort, especially for the good price. There’s no air conditioning or fridge, parking in Zandvoort is expensive and the hotel has no parking of its own. Checkout is early, at 10am, and can't be later.

We could get around Zandvoort on foot from this central hotel, and there’s underground parking only 50-100m away. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean, and the breakfast, served in the room, was good. Staff were friendly and spoke English well. Dogs are accepted for a 15€ fee. Lovely Dutch town.

The staff were lovely and friendly, and gave us a free Coke when we arrived and when we left. They changed the towels daily and cleaned every two days. I also liked the in-room coffee machine, strong shower pressure and good temperature, and that they held our bags after checkout so we could keep walking around town. We had a double bed on the ground floor for four nights. It was two single mattresses under one double sheet, so I kept slipping into the middle. The bathroom is small. I'm small and was fine, but others might find it cramped. Sound carries, including water and doors early in the morning, so bring earplugs. There’s no onsite parking, which can make parking at night difficult. It's near the beach and plenty of good shops. I’d probably stay here again if I visited Zandvoort, and would put an extra duvet underneath and one over the mattresses. Thanks for having us.
