The room was just right for two, and from our second floor window we had a lovely sunset view. The owner was lovely and very helpful. It’s very close to the train station, even nearer to the beach, and about a ten minute walk from the "old town". I’d absolutely recommend it.

We were two couples traveling with an infant, and the apartment made a great base for exploring Amsterdam and the northwest of the Netherlands. Our second floor space had amazing views over the North Sea. Both the train station and beach are an easy walk, and there’s an excellent seafront restaurant just two minutes away on foot. Janneke and Herman made us feel so welcome and went out of their way for us. Their hospitality made the stay special, and they even provided a few extras for the baby.

It was comfortable, and we could use the kitchen and laundry. The sea is close, and it’s easy to walk to places to eat.
