Zandvoort Centre Apartment

The room had everything we needed, from plates and cutlery to coffee and tea makers, and we could bring takeout back if we didn't want to eat out. Breakfast was a real treat: similar each morning, but with small changes like egg one day and yogurt the next, plus good rolls, plenty of savory and vegetarian toppings, and juice. The bed was comfortable and the mattress still felt in good shape. I only wished the pillows were thicker, they could probably do with replacing. The room was tidy, cleaned well, and had a small but neat rain shower. We stayed three nights in autumn, and the location made it easy to reach both the center and the beach. A very good stay, I'd happily return.

The breakfast basket was impressively full: rolls, sweet spreads, muesli, fresh fruit and yogurt, orange juice, and a glass dome of savory toppings, all left at the door in the morning. Our double room had lovely modern decor, plenty of space for the two comfortable beds, chairs and dining table, and French doors out to a balcony. The bathroom was compact but spotless, with a nice rain shower. The welcome felt warm and the whole place had a friendly atmosphere. It's on a pretty street near the charming center, with the beach an easy walk away. Even on a hot summer day the beach wasn't too crowded. Communication was pleasant, and although I booked at the last minute, I was able to get into the room early. You can tell a lot of care goes into the stay.

The host was really kind and helpful, and the room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was varied and more than enough, left in a basket on the door just after eight each morning. The B&B is on a quiet side street, though the center is only about a 10-minute walk away. It's furnished with a lot of care.
