Hotel Theater Figi

The room and bathroom were spacious, with lovely decor details and a beautiful view. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the stay felt cozy and pleasant. Bus stops are very close, with service to and from Utrecht, which is a real plus. One of my best hotel experiences in the Netherlands.

Hotel Theater Figi sits centrally in Zeist, not far from Utrecht, and combines a hotel with a theater, cinema, and event center. The large entrance has a lobby, reception, and several seating areas. A café and restaurant next door serve both hotel guests and theater visitors. Rooms come in different categories and have a bed, desk, TV, telephone, minibar, and private bathroom with either a shower or bathtub. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, and some rooms have seating or a small work area. Breakfast is served in a separate space, with hot and cold choices including bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice. There's a hotel parking lot for a fee, or public parking nearby. Buses to Utrecht and other parts of Zeist are within walking distance.

I come here two or three times a year, and the staff are friendly. No complaints from me. The hotel is being renovated right now, which is the only reason I'd give it less than 5/5. One request about the TV: it'd be nice to have some English channels. At the same time, I know I'm not in England!

A well-earned 4-star hotel, especially handy if you're exploring the Netherlands by car. It's close to Utrecht, easy to reach from the highway, and centrally placed for getting around. In town, it's across from the Town Hall, the best spot around. The suite had spectacular views, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable and spacious. The room was well equipped, with a standard bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, with high-quality hot and cold items, salad, sweet options, and very good coffee. Parking costs €16, though there's a public lot about five minutes away with plenty of spaces.
