We came for a wedding, and the service was great. The restaurant served great food with good wine pairings. It's a beautiful castle, impressive but still cozy, and works well as a hotel and wedding venue. The rooms were adequate, though a bit old-fashioned.

The hotel's restaurant had delicious dinner at an affordable price, with a variety of options. After long days out exploring, the incredibly comfortable beds made it easy to get a great night's sleep. It was a peaceful, quiet location, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Comfort, tranquility, and good food made this a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

The terrace is a nice place to sit, and indoors the atmosphere is pleasant too. Staff were friendly and attentive, service was very good, and the dishes and drinks were delicious. The rooms are okay. We'll definitely come back.

The dessert was supposed to differ between the two menus, but everyone ended up with the same one. Staff panicked and discovered the ingredients they needed weren't even available. We were a group of fifteen and had booked two months ahead, with only a regular or vegetarian meal to choose from. Switching between them wasn't allowed.

The restaurant was the better part of our stay, though the meal dragged on for three and a half hours for four courses. The dishes tasted nice but were tiny, and even the small basket of three bread pieces, fries, and vegetables came as extra charges despite seeming to be part of the set menu. The bill was stiff and full of surprises. Classless. Staff were friendly and the service was good, but when we raised these management decisions, they seemed helpless. Since this clearly comes up often, they turned cold and shrugged, saying it was true but out of their hands. Poor souls. We bought a romantic dinner and hotel package, and it was a bad choice. Don't be taken in by the castle description. The rooms are in a cheap-looking 1970s building, like a run-down highway motel. They're small, dated, and have no atmosphere. They look nothing like the website photos and certainly aren't comfortable or spacious. Most positive reviews seem to be about the restaurant, while nearly every hotel comment says the same thing. They keep getting away with it. The bathroom is tiny and floods after a shower. Look at the picture I attached. They charge over 160 euros for this, which is a disgrace. The garden is nice, but very small and overshadowed by a huge old 1960s apartment block. High prices set expectations, and all this might sting less if they charged less. Think of it as an overpriced old hotel with a pretty nice but expensive restaurant. There are far better options nearby, so be warned.
