Duinhotel Haga

The hotel has a rustic feel and a very nice location. Inside, though, the rooms were really hot, and the towels and other things had an unpleasant smell.

We were welcomed warmly and had a nice room. Getting to the beach takes about a minute: just leave the door, turn right, and walk. A great place to stay.

The best part was how good the included breakfast was, with plenty to choose from, and the staff were helpful and very friendly. We had Room 8 for four days, a perfectly fine room, though the bathroom was a little small. We’ve been spending a week in Zoutelande every year for about 30 years, usually in a holiday home because we had one or more dogs. Since we don’t have a dog at the moment, this was our first hotel stay there. The only uncomfortable part came on our last evening and night, when a mother and her two sons moved into the apartment opposite, just 3-5 meters from our door. They talked, shouted, and used their phones and iPads noisily late into the evening, making it hard to relax or sleep after a long day. Even so, we had another lovely few days in Zoutelande and the stay was very positive.
