We had a room for four on the second floor, with no balcony or anything like that, and there hadn’t been any information about this when we booked. The cleaning staff also didn’t look after our room regularly. There isn’t a proper parking area around the hotel, and the beds were pretty uncomfortable. At least everything was clean, and breakfast was nice. There’s space outside and behind the hotel to eat in the sun. The beach is about a five-minute walk away, and there are seats right in front of the hotel where you can sit and smoke. Overall, it was okay.

The photos make this place look much better than it is. Our room was dirty: makeup on the mirrors, gum on the floor, stained sheets, brown marks on the walls and ceiling, and mold in the bathroom. It feels like they charge whatever they want because rooms are in such high demand.

The new woman at the front desk was really friendly, and that’s the only reason I gave two stars. The boiler ran outside our door all night, and the hallways smelled like something had died inside the walls. The owners need to renovate the whole place. What a shame.

The location is really good, which makes it a shame that I can’t recommend this hotel. We stayed three nights. The rooms were clean, but the furniture and plumbing were worn out and partly broken. In the shower, we couldn’t turn the water colder, so there was a risk of scalding ourselves. Breakfast was okay and enough for me, though for the room price I expected more. Service was okay too. The owner waited for us past 11 p.m. when traffic delayed our arrival, but that was about all.
