Zoet & Zout

The location is fantastic, with complete privacy on a secluded property and just a 10-15 minute walk to the sea. Still, the price felt completely unacceptable for what we got. The pool was very dirty when we arrived, and we had to try cleaning it ourselves. There was no pool robot or anything similar. Tiles around it are coming loose, with gaps you can see through, and the glass cover advertised on the website was missing, so using the pool in bad weather wasn't possible. The garden still had last autumn's leaves, and one day someone suddenly came in to mow the small lawn without ringing the doorbell. The house looked clean at first, but up close it wasn't; the windows and frames seemed not to have been cleaned for at least a year. The living area also gets extremely hot in the sun. We left somewhat disappointed.
