For the price and location, this was a superb place to stay for the night. The apartment is old, but cozy and clean, and the bathroom is new. The staff gave each of us two complimentary traditional pastries. If I return to Ålesund, I'll stay here again.

There’s a pretty large parking lot right out front, plus plenty of street parking nearby. The apartment had a fridge, stove, oven, pans, and a few different spices. It’s cozy, the rooms are comfortable, and it’s great for the price.

We had a spacious apartment with great views, and I’d recommend the place. Supplies were pretty limited, though: there was only one roll of toilet paper and no dishwasher tablets, so I had to call the manager to get them. The house is on a hill, and the views are lovely, but the spiral stairs up to the second floor make hauling luggage a bit risky.

We stayed in an apartment building some distance from the main one. It was a large, comfortable duplex in a great location. Just be aware there are quite a few stairs, especially if you have heavy bags.

Reception is open from 16:00 to 22:00 and then 8:00 to 11:00, so you can't check out before 8:00. My apartment was very spacious, with a living area and kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom. There was a really disgusting open can in a kitchen cupboard, all rotted, that must have been there for at least 3-4 weeks. Apart from that, the apartment was very clean and comfortable.
