I only stopped in for coffee, I didn’t stay overnight. The café had a cozy feel, friendly staff, and a lovely sea view. Really enjoyed it.

Book a room facing the harbour, with a view of the site E. Munch painted the 3 girls on the bridge, then have dinner on the terrace. The food and service are grand too, even if the outside of the hotel doesn’t look that way. Truly the best place to stay in Åsgårdstrand.

We left feeling rested and refreshed, and we’ll definitely come back. The bed was enormous and SO COMFI. The room felt dark and cozy, though its huge window let in plenty of morning light. A dreamy place to sleep. The fjord view is lovely, especially from the restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful, with beautiful piano music behind it, and the atmosphere and service were both great. The shower is over a bathtub, which felt a bit outdated and isn’t ideal for accessibility. Still, it’s a nice option if you want to have a soak.

I really enjoyed my stay. My room was spacious, had the amenities I needed, and looked out over the sea. There’s no balcony, but the hotel has a restaurant and bar, plus some games amenities. It’s close to the sea, a good spot for walks, and there’s parking outside.
