The location and the chef were the only things I’d call luxury. The chef clearly loves the work, but otherwise I’m not sure where the money goes. For the price and the hotel's 'luxury' label, it was disappointing: there was no filter coffee apart from at breakfast, and that tasted like instant. No desks in the rooms, the water temperature swung from very hot to very cold, and the wifi was unreliable.

The location is ideal, just a few minutes on foot from the harbor and train station. Our mountain-facing room was small, and the bed was even smaller. I’m 1.70 cm and was worried I’d fall out 😃😩. The dinner and breakfast were very tasty.

We booked at the last minute when we decided to stay for a fjord cruise, and it was worth every penny. They arranged a crib, and the garden was lovely for sitting with a direct fjord view. The marina was an easy walk for cold swimming. Our room was small but comfortable, with incredible views. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the staff went above and beyond by preparing a meal for our toddler outside service hours so she could eat before bed. We’d definitely stay again!

The rooms are simple, but the staff were incredible and the food was high quality, with great service. Breakfast and dinner are included in the room price, and the set menu rotates among five meals. The location is nice too, off to the side of the main Flåm area, so you can get away from the central station and crowds.

Breakfast and dinner were included, which was a nice bonus, and the fjord views were amazing. The room and bathroom were very small but clean. We liked being a short walk outside town, where it was quieter and felt a little more private, while still being easy to walk to everything we wanted to see in Flåm.
