The köttkaker were disappointing this time. The meat was really tough and dry, the potatoes were still hard inside, and there was far too little gravy and tytteber. I only stopped to eat, I didn't stay at the hotel. I've eaten here on my way home before and used to look forward to this meal, but now it costs three times as much as the first time I came and was three times worse. I hope it gets better.

We booked at nearly midnight and got there late, but reception was still open and there was no issue. The room was warm and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was so generous that it was easy to mistake “take what you like” for “all you can eat” 😀

Robin made a real difference with his helpful, attentive support and made sure everything went smoothly. The stay itself was cozy and very peaceful, in one of the most interesting places in Norway. It seems like a lovely fit for families or people traveling alone, and I can highly recommend both the stay and the host.

After I broke my leg, the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The gentleman at the front desk talked with me for quite a while about the injury and suggested activities I could do while recovering. The hotel is also easy to reach just off the main road, and the accessible room I booked was exactly as described.

Breakfast was great, and Robin at the front desk was especially welcoming and helpful when we arrived. We had a great stay here on our drive back to Oslo. Thank you!
