The apartments were so cozy, with great beds and lovely views, and the location was perfect. One small thing to know: offices in the country close early, so if you arrive around 8 pm, reception may be unattended and your key will be in a safe. That didn't take away from a really good stay. I'd definitely come back.

Even the standard cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy. Free parking and entrance to the village came with a stay at Lofoten Cottages. The kitchen was well equipped, though bring your own oil or butter, and I would've liked a shelf in the bathroom. A few candles would've been the cherry on top. The village itself wasn't as majestic as I'd expected from its UNESCO heritage.

The cabin had everything we needed for two nights and was clean and very cozy. We were there in late September and enjoyed breakfast on the porch in the occasional sunshine, listening to the waves and gulls. We had only decided spontaneously to stay overnight at Lofoten Cottages and booked a Standard Cabin, so the complimentary upgrade to a Comfort Cabin on arrival was a lovely surprise after a tiring day of hiking. The service was excellent, and the two welcoming women at reception made us feel at home. We'd gladly return. Thank you, Lofoten Cottages!

The views were great, and the cabin came with its own restroom and full kitchen. Reception staff were friendly. I was traveling with a buddy, though, so one of us had to take the room and the other the couch. I've run into this in Norway before: a listing says two single beds, but they're actually joined as a double, with one mattress and sheet set, plus two blankets and pillows side by side. By normal counting, that's one bed, and there was no way to separate them.
