Super sentral, flott og solrik leilighet i sentrum

The staff were probably the friendliest and most helpful I’ve come across in a hotel. There are lovely shared spaces and a bar, plus great food and a lovely breakfast. The rooms may be old, but they’re clean and comfortable. The ski bus stop is about 50 meters from the front door, and there’s a ski room at the front, though it isn’t heated. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Hemsedal.

The food was awesome, the place was comfortable, and the service was really nice. I’ll be back soon, for sure!

I stayed at Skogstad Hotell on 11th July and had a memorable time. The staff made me feel welcome right away and were attentive throughout. They went out of their way to help, gave useful recommendations and always greeted me with a smile. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh local choices, and the dining area was pleasant. The bar was another highlight, with a broad drink selection in a relaxed, stylish setting, just right for unwinding after exploring. My room was spotless and well cared for, with a comfortable bed. The decor blended modern amenities with a cozy traditional feel. From the window, the surrounding landscape was breathtaking. The hotel is also well placed for local attractions, nearby hiking trails and peaceful scenery. I’d gladly return, and recommend Skogstad Hotell for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

The rooms still seem to be waiting for renovation, but I had a very good stay overall. The lobby bar is nicely designed, and the corridors are clean and well adapted. Breakfast had a wide selection and the dining area was pleasant, with relaxing music. The staff were very helpful, especially reception, where I got a smile and the right information. I’d be happy to come back, and hope the rooms have been renovated by then.
