We got a warm welcome after riding through so much rain on our motorbike, and having a warm bedroom to change out of our wet gear was a real help. Our clothes dried quickly, and we could park right outside the door. The lake views from the bedrooms are gorgeous. I bet sitting on the balcony in midsummer as the sun goes down is lovely, though we enjoyed it even with the chilly wind at the end of May. Delicious breakfast, too. The setting alone makes this hotel easy to recommend.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay, and there’s a pleasant garden overlooking the lake. It’s right beside Europe's deepest lake, which is a great spot, so I wished there were more water sports options. The hotel feels old, and the elevator wasn't working on the morning we checked out.

I stayed here while on my way to Alesund Airport and really enjoyed it. There’s a car charging station nearby, plus two supermarkets and a restaurant right next to the hotel. The room facing the lake had an amazing view, breakfast was really good, and the staff were very friendly. A very comfortable place in a stunning setting.

It’s two in the morning and the loud music nearby is still going. We can’t sleep, and even after speaking to the hotel a few times, nobody has helped. It’s very, very noisy. How are people supposed to stay in a hotel like this?

The bathroom was spacious, and our balcony looked out over the lake. The rooms were very comfortable, with mattresses you could adjust between firm and soft. The hotel staff even prepared breakfast for the whole bus before the official start, which earned them bonus points.
