The setting is lovely and peaceful, with walking routes starting by the parking area just 20 meters from the lobby. The sea is only 30 meters away, and our suite had a great view of it. Breakfast was good, too.

The area and the view were nice, and breakfast was delicious. The fish was especially tasty, with no bones at all. Dinner was good too, but our group waited more than 40 minutes past the planned time, even though our tour guide had called at noon to confirm it would be ready for 7:30. Room 210 was in very poor shape: only one of its five lights worked, there was a spider, nowhere to charge a phone, and the bathroom looked like the renovation was only partly finished.

The fjord view was beautiful, and the rooms have been renovated recently. It’s a lovely place, with friendly staff, good food, and a cosy lounge.

The bar and food were good, and the rooms were comfortable. With the new management, everyone seems to be working hard to make guests’ stays enjoyable. The location is wonderful, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were amazing and the food was fantastic. This place is well worth a small detour off the E6, or what locals rightly call "Den Gylene Omvei".
