The breakfast had plenty to choose from, and I liked being able to use the shared guest kitchen. The view from the room and the surrounding area was gorgeous. The room was roomy enough and the bed was comfortable, so for the price it was okay. Still, the place felt more like a youth hostel than a nice hotel, even in a private room. The furniture and buildings had a school-like feel, with nothing especially cozy or luxurious. The bathroom was the worst part. There’s only a curtain around the shower, and water ends up all over the bathroom when you use it. It felt dirty and was really unpleasant. I’ve only come across a bathroom that bad once before, at an airport hotel in east Africa. The blinds also let light in around the sides. That seems odd in Norway, where the sun doesn’t set in summer. Bring a sleep mask.

We had a pleasant stay. The beds were big, and the accommodation was nice and clean. The kitchen, showers, and toilets are shared, and there’s no staff on site, but the instructions they sent were clear and gave us everything we needed. Communication was quick, too. 😊

Breakfast was included and very, very good. You can also prepare a packed lunch for a fee. The shared areas were clean, and there’s free parking. The kitchen was large and well equipped, and the showers were very nice. I had a spacious room with its own lavatory. A good hostel.

The location is really pretty, and the rooms were clean with towels provided. It’s not exactly cheap, though by Lofoten standards the price was decent compared with most places. The beds squeak a bit, and the walls are very thin 😜🥴.

We lucked out with the biggest room, which also had the best view. We had a great time, and the price was reasonable. I’d come back.
