The cabin was wonderful, and the owner went out of his way to help us. We were trying to find where my wife's ancestors lived before immigrating to America, and he drove us around to show us the place they came from. Such a nice place.

Sven, the owner, was so friendly and helpful that we added two extra days to our stay. My sister and I had come from Minnesota to connect with our family and heritage, and rented a very clean, adorable one bedroom cabin. It had a roomy living area, a kitchenette with an oven, a shower with on-demand hot water, and both an enclosed porch and an outdoor one with a table and chairs.

The beaches around Skudeneshavn have white sand and aqua blue water, and there are some nice places to eat. We had fish and chips at the local hotel, Havn. The campsite itself is peaceful and exceptionally clean, with plenty of room around each pitch. We got such a friendly welcome and lots of helpful information about enjoying Skudeneshavn that our three night booking turned into four. Don’t miss this gem of a town while you’re in Norway.

The hosts are lovely, and their dog is the cutest! We had a great summer stay at Skudenes Camping. Our cozy cabin had everything we needed to feel at home right away, even an ostehøvel. The campground is quiet and in a convenient spot. We’d happily recommend it!

We stayed in caravan parking spot 2, with electricity, and would definitely come back. There was plenty of space between the vehicles and tents, and it was very quiet after 10 pm. The facilities were clean and practical: a building with a shower, two toilets, a washroom with buckets and a vacuum cleaner, plus a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, a cooker, microwave, coffee maker and basic utensils. The staff were friendly too.
