I booked here only because my usual hotel for business trips was full, and I expected similar quality from another four-star place. The room was tiny for a business class room and dirty when I arrived, with a used bandage on the floor. I get the Norwegian minimalist style, but there wasn’t a wardrobe, just two hangers, and TV cables were visible everywhere. I asked them to fix phone casting so I could watch something in the evening without speaking Norwegian, but it wasn’t resolved. Gym access badges are limited, so you might not get in. Breakfast could have been good, but hygiene was awful and the cutlery was dirty. I’ll be back in Kristiansand in August and will stay somewhere else.

We had a suite with two bedrooms and a living room that looked out toward the grocery store. It stayed fresh inside at a perfect temperature even when it was hot outside, and the rooms were clean and new. The location and service were excellent, with the best service we’ve had at any Thon hotels in Norway. Thank you!

From outside, the hotel looks modest, with a small reception, but the staff are super friendly and the place is clean and tidy. Our room was plain but neat and well looked after, with comfortable beds, and the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Fantastic stay. I have over 12 million views and hope this helps bring you more visitors.

Right downtown, so the main street is just a quick walk away. The place is cute and practical, and the staff were super nice ❤️ The room wasn’t very big, but the mattress was really comfortable and the shower pressure was good, which was what mattered to me. Breakfast didn’t have many vegan choices, unfortunately.

I was only there for one night, and it went well. The room was nice and breakfast was good. They let me check in around 1 A.M., even though reception would normally be closed by then. The one issue was parking, but I’ve run into that at other big-city hotels too.
