Nordseter Apartments

I loved the amazing view, and the apartment is really big. The two-person bedroom is quite small, but the upstairs bedroom is huge, with room for six. We stayed there as a family of four.

I never officially stayed at Nordseter Apartments, but the people there turned what could have been a disaster into one of my fondest memories. I try to pay that kindness forward whenever I can. In 2015, I was on a multi-day ski trip when I took a wrong turn on a long, cold day. I was exhausted and only realized I was lost once it was too dark to see. I went back to the last town I’d passed, Nordseter. The people at Nordseter Apartments were incredibly kind. They had no vacancy, but offered me somewhere warm and dry and invited me to dinner. The meal was amazing. Once I was warm and fed, they helped me call a taxi and sort things out. Thank you!

The apartments are comfortable and open plan, with valley views. Cross-country trails pass right by, and the small Nordseter downhill resort is about a five-minute walk away. There’s a cosy bar and cafe in the hotel area. The beds are a bit basic, with thin mattresses.

We were moved to a different apartment because of overbooking. The area was very quiet and had a nice view, though it felt a bit remote. The beds weren’t the cleanest, but the rest was decent.
