The front desk staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, as always, and we enjoyed our short stay. It’s a cosy hotel near the train station in Lillestrom. The rooms and bedding were very clean and comfortable, and I really liked having a bathtub in our room. The gym, pool, and sauna were nice, although the jets you swim against in the main pool no longer work. Breakfast was delicious, but it would be nice if the pancakes were warm and someone came around to serve coffee. We only saw one staff member at the end of breakfast, collecting plates.

The staff were friendly and greeted me with a smile, but the rest was just okay. My TV didn’t work, and the shower hadn’t been cleaned properly. Breakfast had very few options, especially for a fairly large restaurant connected to the hotel. I expected more from a well-known chain. An average stay, with a few clear downsides.

They understood what I needed and were incredibly kind. The staff made sure my stay was just right.

I was checked into two different rooms that hadn’t been cleaned. After that, they upgraded me to a nicer room, which was okay. I emailed the staff twice, once about parking and once for a receipt, but got no reply either time.

The staff were easily the best part of the hotel: friendly without being too much, and a pleasure to talk to. The rooms were trendy and very clean. Breakfast was great, too. My only gripe was that the duvet wasn’t as wide as the bed, though maybe that’s just a Norwegian thing!
