The quiet setting helped me sleep really well, especially with the window cracked open a little on a September night. The bed was clean and soft, just how I like it when I travel. Breakfast had a good range of options and a pleasant dining atmosphere. There was room in the parking area for a few buses or trucks, too. I hope my company sends me back here.

We woke to the morning sun coming in from the east, and had a great view from our second- or third-floor window. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nostalgic feel, while still offering the amenities you’d expect from a modern place. It’s been run by the same family for three generations, since 1959. You can charge an electric car on site using a regular outlet, so bring the right cable or charger.

Room 205 was in good condition, though the layout of both the room and bathroom was awkward. The TV didn’t work, but I managed to fix it. The outlets were badly placed, so I had to move the beds and use my extension cable to charge my phone. The fridge was switched off, even though they were expecting us. Breakfast was okay for a three-star hotel, with some cold items and only one juice option.

The peaceful rural setting is lovely, with beautiful surroundings, and parking is free. The rooms feel a bit dated, but they’re still comfortable and the beds are nice. Breakfast was okay.

The welcome was so friendly that it made the place feel like home. It’s in a stunning location, and the food was amazing. My room was warm, clean, and comfortable. A beautiful place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it.
