The next morning I had the breakfast time wrong and thought it ran until 11, but it actually ended at 10. The staff still went out of their way to make me fresh bread rolls with toppings. I ate in my room, with one of the best views imaginable, and it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. We also had fun playing shuffleboard in the shared area that evening. When we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and the room was beautiful and spotless, with a large bed, TV, and everything we needed, plus an amazing view. We were given bathrobes and used the sauna by the pier, taking several dips in the river. The only small issues were that a room meant for two had just one set of towels, and the sink plug kept falling out, so the water had trouble draining. Apart from that, everything was fantastic. An amazing stay with great facilities and an unforgettable atmosphere. 10/10.

Breakfast was very good, though parking in front of the hotel isn’t free. I stayed for 2 nights, and the room was small. There’s a shelf 1.65 cm high beside the bathroom exit that I kept hitting my head on. See image.

This is Norway’s southernmost hotel. The breakfast was very good, the dinner delicious, and the hotel staff were good.

The hotel-run sauna is amazing, and the view from the hotel is nice. The junior suite was spacious, but there was no fridge or kettle, and no tea or tissues in the room. One electrical socket didn’t work. They charged me a second time even though I’d prepaid, but the morning front desk took good care of the issue. The access road is unusual, and two of the mapped roads turned out to be impassable.

We stayed for 10 days while working nearby. The hotel was really nice, and every staff member was fantastic and friendly. The rooms were a little small, but comfortable and well equipped. We ate at the restaurant most evenings. The food was really good, though there were only 3 main dishes on the menu. Breakfast was a fabulous buffet, with plenty of hot and cold smoked salmon and lots of other good things. All in all, a great little hotel with excellent food and service.
