Moss Hotel & Apartments

The room was short on space, but still worth it since you're probably not in there much. It had heated bathroom floors, and breakfast was good, with fresh bread even if there wasn't much variety. Staff were helpful and accommodating. They'll do your laundry and aim for a 24-hour turnaround, though it can take longer when they're busy. Free water and coffee were nice, and they give you a towel for the gym. The gym is in another location, but not far to walk, and has lots of machines, a few treadmills, and a small yoga area. The hotel is well placed by the river, near a mall with grocery stores, food trucks outside, and entertainment. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area.

The staff deserve a special mention for being so kind and helpful. The place was welcoming and well organized, with a large room and everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. Just be aware the hotel has no elevator.

The rooms were clean and the service was impeccable. Moss Hotel was right where we needed it to be, with the Moss mall, two great restaurants, and the ferry to Horten nearby. Reception stays open around the clock, and the bar serves drinks late.

The staff at Moss Hotel were wonderful. We bought mango and pineapple at the market, and the hotel kitchen cut them up for us. We were there for Lysenetter festival and loved our stay in a spacious room on the top, third floor, with a hangout area and a bedroom. It's a lovely little hotel with a historic feel and great service. Just know there's no elevator, so you'll get your stair workout coming and going. Can recommend.
