The location is perfect, but the toilet was apparently leaking water all over the bathroom. The owner told me to put towels around it, saying that would help. Nobody told me about the leak before I arrived. The apartment smelled damp, mixed with soap, and water was running from the shower too, so don’t go into the bathroom without shoes.

We paid $90 and drove two hours, but couldn’t get inside because he never sent instructions for opening the lockbox. There was no contact information, and we couldn’t reach anyone, so we had to leave. Miscommunication happens, but he also refused to refund us for a night we never spent there. That makes me inclined to think he’s operating this AirBnb shop in bad faith. Don’t stay here.

The apartment itself was very nice, though the outside of the building looked quite bad. The location was fine, close to the river, with nice walks nearby. We only stayed one night.

A beautiful, cool place. The outside hideout looks like an interesting FBI safehouse, then you step inside and it’s beautiful. 😆
