The location is hard to beat if you're hiking Trolltunga, and the Wi-Fi was strong. The shower was good too. But there was no breakfast, no air conditioning or fan, and the window couldn't be opened, so the summer heat had nowhere to go. I asked the front desk for a fan; he said he'd bring one right away, but it never came. There wasn't a shelf or hook for clothes or toiletries in the bathroom, just a useless one above a tiny sink. No outlets by the beds either. Four of us were put in top bunks while the lower bunks stayed empty, which felt cruel. There weren't shelves beside the beds, so nowhere to put a phone or anything else. Still, I'd recommend it if you're here for Trolltunga.

The view from our room was stunning, and it's the closest accommodation to Trolltunga. We were also able to do all our laundry, which was incredibly convenient. The hostel was cleaner and more comfortable than we'd expected, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

My bag was beside the bed when I checked out early this morning, but today it was stolen along with my belongings. No one took responsibility or helped me. When I called, the receptionist was like a ghost and only said the housekeeper had cleaned room B and found nothing. So who took my bag? Where are your cameras? It's really sad to think people steal from tourists at a hostel in Norway. The service was bad, and the people working there seemed dishonest. Be careful and avoid this place.

After an exhausting 20-kilo hike, I was glad I stayed here instead of in Odda. This is the gateway to the Trolltunga hike, and there's a small supermarket about a two-minute drive away where you can get something to eat.

We stayed in a dorm, and both the room and the sanitary areas were clean. The staff were nice, and the location is perfect for the Trolltunga hike. After a VERY rainy hike, the special shoe dryers in the laundry room were just what we needed. You can rent hiking gear here too if you need it. Great hostel.
