The service was really friendly, and the hotel is right in the center of the village. My spacious room had a small kitchen, and the price was very good for what you get. A couple of things to plan for: parking costs extra, and breakfast doesn't start until 8.00 am, which matters if you've got an early activity the next day.

The staff were okay, if not especially professional, and breakfast was decent. The main problem was the bed: the rooms are basic, but that would be fine if I couldn't feel every spring against my back. I didn't sleep well. This was my second stay. Last year parking was open and free, but this year cameras make sure you pay. There are plenty of free parking spots around town. Maybe they could put some of that camera money into better beds instead.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of food. The rooms are spacious but a little dated, with kitchens that could help save money if you're on a budget. There's no dinner option, though the town has plenty of places to eat. I stayed two nights with breakfast. The family room I had downstairs should work for wheelchair users because of its size, but the hotel isn't very wheelchair-friendly overall: breakfast is upstairs and there's no lift.

The reception guys and the woman running breakfast and the restaurant were all very service-minded and did their best to make the stay pleasant. The restaurant has a lovely view of the nearby mountains, especially from the tables by the windows. Location is handy too, close to the town centre, station and E 6. A good base for a longer visit if you book a room with a fridge and cooking facilities, though it also works well as a quick stop on the way.
