The restaurant's signature meal, cooked on local slate right at your table, was a fun experience and tasted good. We traveled in the off-season and got a large room with free parking outside. The hotel has a lot of charm and sits next to the train station. We'll come back for the food.

Good breakfast and free parking, and a nice place to stay. The train station is right next door, so trains go by throughout the night. Some rooms are more exposed to the noise because of where they are.

It's very handy for the train station, and I enjoyed staying here. The coffee was excellent and breakfast had a decent choice. The bed wasn't very comfortable, though, and the shower doors need rubber strips because water ends up all over the bathroom floor. That's why I'd give it four stars instead of five.

The room was comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Drinks were another story: the beers cost a lot, and a bottle of house wine was £40. It was £6.99 at the corner shop.
