The breakfast was great, check-in was easy, and the location worked well. The staff were friendly too. Angie was on duty at 11:45pm on 6/19/22, and I hope I’ve spelled the name right. Hotel managers, he’s a real asset to your company and a very capable member of staff. I don’t get why people come to Norway just to complain about room size. Enjoy the place.

What stood out was the location, the friendly staff, and a really good breakfast. The room was clean and the hotel was great otherwise. I did find the bed too soft, and there wasn’t a wardrobe or enough bathroom furniture for belongings on a longer stay. That’s just my subjective impression, though.

The staff were wonderful and very friendly, definitely a selling point. The room itself was clean apart from the carpet stains, but it felt more like a youth hostel: very dated, unlike the photo, with a broken light and just one sheet layer straight over the mattress. That might be fine if you know what you’re getting or paying for. Advertising the hotel online as modern and then arriving to find these rooms didn’t feel right.

The view was beautiful, breakfast had a good range, and the room was spotless, so I was very happy overall. A few things could be better: there was no kettle, and the shower had no hooks or shelves for towels and clothes. Parking is limited and often totally full on weekend evenings. Also, the double bed was two singles pushed together, and they gradually came apart overnight.

Parking outside was free and easy, and the shower had good pressure and worked fine. The room was clean but pretty bare. It’s a basic hotel in the middle of a small town, with no international TV channels. Breakfast wasn’t much use, with few choices, and the salmon seemed a bit old.
