Even arriving very late, we were greeted so warmly. The place is beautiful and full of character, with a real step-back-in-time feel. There’s lots of room, and everything was spotless.

We picked this place for an ice climbing trip, with several waterfalls close by, and the house worked out perfectly. After a long day, it was handy to have somewhere to dry our clothes. It’s centrally located, and Lars and Kristin were really welcoming. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a base for ice climbing in Gudbrandsdalen.

The owners live next door and were lovely, friendly people. The house itself has a special atmosphere, with beautiful old-style rooms that feel like stepping into the 19th century. There’s a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, and you can grill in the yard. It also has two toilets, a shower and a bath. 😍👍

This is a cozy guesthouse, and it works together with other small places to stay around Ringebu, including mine, @Jonsgård bed and breakfast, on the pedestrian street in @LandsbyenRingebu.
