Hotel Victoria is a beautiful historic place in central Stavanger. I've stayed there twice over the past 10 years, and both visits were excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast bar was amazing. I got to try authentic Norwegian food, and it was delicious. I highly recommend it.

I've found my new destination hub. I travel a lot, and Norway has left a special place in my heart. The Hotel Victoria team made me feel that way, and I'll definitely be back. Reception staff were cheerful, knowledgeable and happy to help, and my room was amazing and very clean. I also enjoyed a workout in the very good, clean gym. Breakfast was amazing, with a great variety. Thank you, Hotel Victoria team 💞

My wife had her birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly upgraded our room, making it feel even more special. The staff were extremely polite, respectful and attentive, our room was spotlessly clean, and breakfast had an excellent variety. We had a wonderful stay, and I truly appreciate the hospitality. Highly recommended!

I keep coming to Stavanger and have tried Hotel Victoria a couple of times. It looks nice, perhaps a bit like Londons The Stafford, but my stays haven't matched what I'd expect from a hotel like this. In winter, the rooms are generally very cold, and the hotel is noisy. On my most recent visit I booked a deluxe room, 414, because its desk suited me as a business traveler. It was beside the stairs and elevator, as well as an area under renovation. Construction noise and the workers' music made it impossible for me to work. Once they left, drunk hotel guests partied in the hallway through the evening. The hotel offered no solution to either issue. I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers, families, or anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing stay. If you do go, I'd try to avoid rooms ending in nr 14, as they seem most exposed to noise.

Our Tea Time Breakfast visit to the Victoria Hotel was a lovely way to spend the morning. You can book it in advance, and it comes with coffee or tea and a selection of tasty bites. The smoked salmon sandwiches and freshly baked pastries were beautifully presented and tasted great. Our waiter seemed unsure which items were part of the set and checked a few times, but she was polite and helpful. It's in a great location, and I'd say it's worth a visit for a relaxed, tasty morning treat.
