Breakfast was quite nice, and the beds were comfortable rather than rock hard. Being right in the city centre also puts lots of restaurants close by. But I kept hearing cars go past my window, and the rooms are quite small. I found the bathroom design pretty bad: the whole floor is raised, so you have to step up to get in and down again to leave. The space-saving shower has a sloped floor to direct water to the drain, which makes sense, but it isn’t separated from the rest of the bathroom. I kept stepping on the corners where the floor changes.

It’s a small, friendly hotel in the centre of old town Stavanger, so the staff give you personal attention. The rooms were good and clean, and breakfast was nice too.

The rooms were spacious, but I couldn’t turn off the AC overnight, which made for a poor experience. Breakfast was nice, although it was too crowded and there wasn’t enough space for everyone.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very kind. Breakfast had a great selection and was really good. The hotel is close to the city centre, and this was another enjoyable stay at a Thon Hotel during my holiday in Norway.
