Radisson Blu Hotel, Trondheim Airport

I was there for one night on a business trip and found the location very handy, close to both the airport and train station. One train ride got me into Trondheim in around 30-45 minutes. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I could work on my laptop at the desk. There was also a sofa chair by the window if I didn't want to lie on the bed. The staff were friendly, hardworking, and ready to help. Breakfast was a buffet with a great range and lots of healthy choices. I didn't get to try the restaurant during my one-night stay. If business brings me back to Trondheim, I'll stay here again.

A one-minute walk from the arrival and departure terminal makes this a great option for late arrivals or early flights. My room was spacious and had good facilities. The breakfast was excellent, but dinner choices are limited to an airport snack shop and the hotel's one restaurant, so the selection is small and prices are very high. The bath setup felt dated, since you have to shower in the tub, and it should have a bath mat for safety. Older guests in particular could slip. The climate control also needs to work properly: the duvet is very warm, and an air conditioner that doesn't cool the room is unpleasant.

The location is amazing, and the rooms are quite spacious with bathtubs. Breakfast was a little cold for me, as was the bathroom, but there was a good variety of food.

Just a minute from the airport, with clean rooms and friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was continental style. Their dirty fries and burger are some of the best I've ever had.
