The apartment had a good amount of space for two and was fairly affordable, with a well equipped kitchen, ventilation, a clean bathroom, and a washing machine. You can warm the bathroom floor by turning up the thermostat, which also helps it dry faster after a shower. I liked being away from the city centre, with bus 42 only a few minutes away. The booking app messages were useful, and they replied when I contacted them. There’s a KIWI grocery store behind the apartment and an EXTRA a few minutes the other way. Both are open 7-23 Monday to Saturday, but closed Sundays. The bed was clean and comfortable, but extremely squeaky whenever I turned over. I worried it might disturb other tenants during quiet hours, 23pm-6am. Maybe it was just our room. It faced the factory side, so evening light made it hard to see northern lights from the apartment. A nice place overall if you get a stable bed, though that’s just my experience and opinion.
There was a worrying incident on our last morning: someone came into the room at 8 am while we were sleeping. I felt scared because I didn’t know who it was, though I want to believe it was the cleaner. Safety is a real concern. The room itself was clean and a decent size, with underfloor heating, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. But the mattress was very thin, and the pillows were awful. They gave me a neck ache the next day, even though I’m used to sleeping in hostels. Kitchen equipment was sparse, with just one frying pan, so cooking there wasn’t really an option.
It’s a good place to stay, though a bit expensive. Having your own kitchen can help you save on restaurant meals.
The room was spacious and had a kitchen, and getting around was convenient. There’s also a supermarket right behind the hotel, which is practical. But I was surprised there was no shower gel or other toiletries. When I asked, the reply was a curt no. I’ve had better service at cheaper budget hotels, and the pillows weren’t comfortable either. Overall, an average stay.
The apartments look modern and new, and everything was neat and clean. Although we saw some residents, it stayed very quiet. Having a supermarket right downstairs was handy, and the bus stop is only a few minutes away for a quick ride to the city center. The main thing missing was a hairdryer.
