Trysil Glamping

We got very good service here. It's a nice place for a really quiet outing, with a little more than just the minimum comforts. Make eggs and bacon for breakfast :). I missed having a playground for the kids, somewhere by the glamping to keep them busy. As it is, this feels more suited to couples.

Sam was a very welcoming and helpful owner, and the peaceful dome was amazing, equipped with everything you might need. The stay was perfect, everything as it should be. Thanks again, Sam! :) Looking forward to coming back in winter/early spring :) RECOMENDED

This was extremely unprofessional and utterly disappointing. I was given a gift card for a stay, but when we tried to book, the owners became completely unreachable by email, chat, or phone. After a month of trying to contact them, we eventually had to involve the gift card providers, and even then the business didn't respond. Looking at Facebook reviews, this seems to have been a systemic problem for over a year. I can't recommend anyone spend money here until the owners have cleaned up their act.

The showers and toilets were spacious and clean, and we were glad our Dome was the nearest one to them. Inside, it was warm, peaceful, and set up with plenty of firewood, a fridge, tea and coffee, glasses, water, plates, and cutlery. We had a comfortable bed and really liked the heated mattress. Cooking over the fireplace was part of the fun. Sam welcomed us, walked us through the facilities, and had messaged ahead to warn us that the melted snow had left things muddy and that boots would help. We came prepared. A lovely one-night escape for two friends.
