On our first three-night stay, we found this to be a modern budget hotel a little uphill from the main street. The owners were pleasant and helpful, and I’d have no hesitation booking again if I return to Bandipur. There’s no lift, which could be an issue for some people. We’ve just spent another three nights here, this time with my wife. The hotel sits at the top of the hill overlooking town, so barking and howling dogs may be a problem. We were disturbed in the early hours on all three nights. The owners know about it and help as much as they can, but until other villagers show more consideration about the stray dogs, it’ll continue.

The food was a real highlight, freshly cooked and excellent, with a personal, homely touch from the hostess. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My wife and I stayed two nights at Hotel Aagaman – Best Family Hotel in Bandipur with our five-month-old baby. The hosts were exceptionally warm, kind, and helpful, and went out of their way to make things comfortable for our baby. They provided a heater for the baby at no extra charge and gave us a larger room with a balcony when we asked, which made things much easier for us as a young family. We live in Germany and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s high standard, which fully met our Western European expectations. We felt genuinely cared for and would happily stay again. I strongly recommend it to families and couples.

As budget travelers, this is easily the nicest place we’ve stayed in Nepal. The room was immaculately clean, with crisp white sheets and great water pressure for a hot shower. The owners were friendly and helpful without hovering. When we asked where to rent a scooter in Bandipur, they kindly lent us theirs. It’s a short walk from the main Bazar, so the location is peaceful and made for a good night’s sleep, while still being easy to get to and from. I highly recommend it as a base for exploring Bandipur.

The Chicken Thali we had for dinner was delicious, and the welcome was just as good. The staff were warm and always ready to help. I'd happily recommend Hotel Aagaman Bandipur for a quiet stay.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with a lovely view from the window. It’s about five minutes from the main street, so we could wander in easily and still get away from the noise. The price also felt incredibly affordable for what we got. What made the stay special was how homely it felt. The lovely couple who run the hotel clearly care about Bandipur and their guests. Didi was a great conversationalist, shared the town’s history, helped us plan what to see, and made us feel like extended family. I’d never written a review before, but the hospitality made me want to. We really enjoyed the BBQ night too. The marinade was flavorful without being overdone, and breakfast the next morning was solid. Clean, calm, cozy, and now I know where I’ll stay whenever I’m back in Bandipur.
