The owners were so helpful with directions for places outside town, and they made me feel like part of the family during my three days there. A really nice hostel in a good spot. I'd happily recommend it. Namaste :)

It's a tiny budget hotel, and during the low season the room and service are okay for what you pay. You'll save money, but keep your expectations low.

Right by the edge of Durbar Square, this little guest house is affordable, private, and close to everything. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't recommend this place. After a month in Nepal, this was the worst hostel I've stayed in. It was dirty and uncomfortable, and 1000 rupees a night felt expensive for a shared bathroom in such bad condition. The bed was just a board with a duvet, no mattress. There were no towels or Wi-Fi, and the shouting and noise made it hard to rest.
