We had lunch and all our dinners at the restaurant, and it was good. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly. It’s a beautiful, luxurious hotel just a few hundred metres from the centre of Bhaktapur. One small suggestion: change the restaurant music, since guests hear the same songs every 15 minutes. I’d strongly recommend the hotel and restaurant.

There were functions every day and night during our two-night stay. It was interesting to see the decor and flower arrangements change, and although we worried about noise, it wasn’t noisy. The functions gave us a chance to enjoy the atmosphere and a wonderful dinner with lots of guests. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was buffet style, with plenty of choice for everyone.

The view of the temple from the top is excellent, and the building looks great. But the service wasn’t so good. The food was very expensive and tasted so bad that right after eating I thought about leaving immediately. I changed my plan to have coffee too, because the manager or owner and staff kept looking at our group. I don’t know why, but it felt awkward, as if they wanted us to order more so they could sell more. It felt horrible.

The rooms are basic but comfortable, and there are hot showers. The location is excellent, and the meals are excellent too. Make sure to try the famous yogurt. There’s a beautiful rooftop bar and a nice coffee shop on the first floor.

The food and coffee are great, and the location is the best. Meals are fairly priced unless you’re used to eating on the street. The staff are very helpful and always within sight when you need them. I’d definitely recommend this guest house.
